He was a former semi-pro player from Puerto Rico who saw something in me I couldn't see in myself. By 13, I was the top-ranked player in my league. That's what great coaching does. Decades later, at a crossroads in my career, I hired an executive coach. That experience gave me the clarity to finally start my own company. A breakthrough I wouldn't have reached alone. And then, right as that clarity hit, I got laid off.
While working with my coach, I'd noticed something that bothered me. This brilliant person transforming my career was running their business on a patchwork of disconnected tools.
